Half-day chess + half-day VEX GO robotics with racing and coding at Chess4Life Bellevue/Issaquah!

In this exciting half-day chess, half-day robotics camp, campers will strengthen their minds through strategic chess play and hands-on robotics engineering.

During the Chess Camp portion, students will learn the fundamentals of chess through fun games and guided challenges that build critical thinking, focus, pattern recognition, and sportsmanship. Campers will practice planning ahead, solving problems, and making thoughtful decisions – Skills that transfer far beyond the chessboard! Find out more about Chess4Life on their website!

In the Robotics Camp portion, campers will explore engineering and coding with VEX GO: Race Car to Code. Over five action-packed days, students will design, build, and modify Super Cars while learning how forces affect motion and how to bring robotics to life through coding. Campers will program their robots for precision driving and racing challenges, culminating in the creation of their own Code Super Car and Code Base.

Target Students:

This camp is perfect for curious learners who love to think, build, and create, combining the logic of chess with the excitement of robotics in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. (Open to ages 6 - 8 with an alternative Chess + Robotics Camp option for ages 8 - 12)

Daily Camp Schedule:

8:30 AM - 9:00 AM - Drop-Off

9:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Chess/Robotics Camp (campers bring their own lunch)

3:00 PM - 3:30 PM - Pick-Up

3:30 PM - 5:00 PM - Optional Aftercare Add-On (purchase separately)

Cancellation Policy:

10% non-refundable deposit if you cancel 2 or more weeks (14 days) before the start of camp. Deducted from refund.

15% non-refundable deposit if you cancel with less than 2 weeks before camp. Deducted from refund.

No refunds after 6:00 PM the Friday before camp begins.
