Ready to level up your 3D design skills? In GOAT Gadget, campers go beyond basic shapes and explore advanced tools in Tinkercad to design thoughtful, functional, and fun gadgets with real-world impact. Students learn how professional designers develop and refine prototypes—planning with intention, testing ideas, iterating on feedback, and upgrading designs to improve usability and effectiveness. Throughout the week, campers create increasingly complex projects, then select designs to 3D print using our in-house printers. A key focus of the course is purposeful design: creating unique solutions that make everyday life easier, more accessible, and more efficient for people around them.

Target Students:

Students with some fundamental 3D design experience (e.g., a prior beginner-level 3D camp or basic familiarity with Tinkercad). Ideal for those looking to deepen their understanding of design techniques and explore new ways to express their creativity.

Learning Outcome:

As they refine their 3D modeling skills, they will gain hands-on experience with CAD software and 3D printing workflows. The camp encourages problem-solving and critical thinking as students tackle design challenges and explore their creativity through personal projects.
