Competitive Tournament Robotics 2-Week Full Day Intensive Programs with VEX (Current Grades 2-6)
PROGRAM DETAILS:
In this 2-week (10-day) Full Day Intensive Summer Program, students will use the VEX IQ Robotics Kit to build, test, and program their own robot, maneuvering it through challenges and obstacle courses. Whether you’re new to the world of robotics or looking to take your programming skills to the next level, this program has it all. It will systematically prepare fundamental robotics skills for annual competitions. Students will build their skill set in mechanical and software engineering, physics and the engineering design process. No VEX Robotics experience is required for students.
This Intensive Program will cover all the content from the Competitive Tournament Robotics Fundamentals with VEX Class. In addition, students will be given more mechanical and software engineering challenges to design, build, and program allowing for more experimentation and familiarity with the VEX Robotics Competition.
STUDENTS WILL BE:
Challenged to think critically and divergently
Developing computational thinking
Becoming comfortable with iteration
Valuing the importance of learning from failure
Learning about jobs of the future
Mentored and taught by highly qualified professionals
Encouraged to develop a growth mindset
Exposed to the newest and most advanced technology
Gaining confidence and results in the robotics competition
